Salaam, and welcome.
In the early days of grief, I started sharing my thoughts on TikTok. Not with any plan, just a way to put words to what I was carrying after losing my aunty in May 2025.
Slowly, others found their way to the page. People also grieving, also holding onto faith, also looking for somewhere that did not rush them past their pain.
A few months later, I brought that same space to Instagram. What started as one voice speaking into the quiet has become a community of over 14,000 people across both, with more than 600,000 likes on words that came from my own grief.
Every comment, every message, every share has told me the same thing. Grief is universal, but too often we carry it alone. Sabr & Tears became a place to carry it together.
This journal is an extension of that community. Something you can hold in your hands on the days when scrolling isn't enough. A quiet place to write what you can't say out loud, to make du'a, to remember the person you miss, and to sit with your grief without being rushed through it.
Every page was made with love, from someone who has sat where you are sitting now. May it hold you gently, the way this community has held me.
With love and sabr
