Welcome to Sabr & Tears. These terms explain how you may use our website and buy our products. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

Sabr & Tears is a trading name of Kiran Ishfaq, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

Our products
We create grief journals and companion pens, made to hold space for grief with intention and care. We do our best to show our products accurately, but colours and finishes may vary slightly because of printing and differences between screens.
Each journal comes with a complimentary packet of Seeds of Sadaqah, marigold seeds for planting in memory of your loved one. As seeds are a natural product, we cannot guarantee germination or growth, which depends on soil, season and care. The seeds are not for eating, so please keep them away from young children and pets. Some cemeteries have rules about planting at graves, so we recommend checking with the cemetery before planting.
Our pens are available only as part of our Sabr Set, and only while stocks last.
A gentle note
Our journals are a companion for your grief, not a substitute for professional medical or mental health support. If you are struggling, please speak to your GP, or call Samaritans free at any time on 116 123.
Ordering
You must be 18 or over to place an order. When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. Our contract with you is formed when we send this confirmation.
We may need to cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a price was listed incorrectly. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as possible and give you a full refund.
Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery within the UK is free on every order. Payment is taken securely through Shopify at the time of your order.
Discount codes
Discount codes can only be used once per order, cannot be combined with other offers and cannot be exchanged for cash. We may withdraw or change a discount code at any time.
Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only, and delivery is free on every order. Dispatch and delivery timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy. We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but times may vary during busy periods such as our launch.
Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order within fourteen days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Faulty items
If your item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please see our Refund Policy for how to contact us.
Our content
All words, designs, images and other content on our website and products belong to Sabr & Tears. Please do not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission. You are welcome to share our posts on social media with credit to @sabrandtears.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable or for any business loss. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on our website when you placed it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
